Selecting the right leather is essential to creating a beautiful handbag or accessory and careful consideration is given to the grain, texture and thickness when matching the leather with each bag design.
Our leathers are developed especially for us by two family-run tanneries with several generations of experience producing beautiful leathers.
Our bags are crafted from full-grain vegetable-tanned leather, characterised by its durability, supple feel and subtle tonal variations.
Vegetable tanning is the most environmentally friendly and sustainable way to produce leather, as it uses organic materials and avoids harsh chemicals. This traditional tanning method results in a natural-looking, enduring leather which ages beautifully and develops a unique patina over time. Our leathers are certified chrome-free.
